Welcome to Oakley Rabbit Stud, My name is Jane and I am a Registered Member and Breeder of mini and standard rex.
More recently though my main concentration is towards mini rex.
We are based in the East Midlands near Loughborough, Leicestershire
Close to J24 on the M1
All the family gets involved with the upkeep of the stud, My husband with the maintenance/hutch building and my son with the youngsters.
I am a member of the National Otter Rex Club, UK Rex and other local clubs.
I regularly attend shows, where I have met some lovely new friends.
I show under the name of Unioak Stud along with my stud partner
from Union Rabbit Stud.
COMING SOON AUGUST 2010 - I am having netherland dwarf rabbits again! so will start breeding them towards the end of this year - I started out breeding Netherland Dwarfs but gave them up to do lops and rex.

ANNOUNCEMENT
I am pleased to announce as of February 2010 I have joined forces with Union Rabbit Stud and we are now working together to improve our show stock. We will now be showing our rabbits under the stud name:
UNIOAK STUD
We are currently breeding and showing: Black Otter, Blue Otter, Lilac Otter and Orange Rex
in Mini and Standard.
We sometimes have other colours too.
By improving our bloodlines we aim to produce top quality Rex as close to the
BRC Standard as possible

All my rabbits are family pets and we breed for exhibition. We are a non profit stud.
Any money made from the sale of any rabbits goes straight back into the stud towards the upkeep of my rabbits. We are continually refurbishing and upgrading our hutches.
