Inside our rabbitry our hutches have all been built from scratch by my husband to our own design. I have hutches ranging from 6ft down to just under 4ft. The welfare of my rabbits is of the upmost importance. I have air conditioning for the summer to keep the rabbits cool. All windows and doors have a fly screen. The lino floor has been added for easy cleaning. I also have a heater in the shed, though I must confess this is more for my benefit in winter when cleaning out.
My rabbits are fed twice a day on Dodson & Horrell Pellets with added acs. plus plenty of fresh hay. I skip out daily and do a complete clean out twice a week, or as necessary.
The bunny's all get a turn on the enclosed outdoor area or they enjoy a dash round the garden. I am soon extending my outdoor area with a large "Lean To" to accomodate a further 3 hutch blocks. Each hutch to be 4 ft x 2 ft x 2ft. There should be 9 extra hutches when complete.
I have added pictures of our new hutch block which is situated under a 16 foot long by 6 foot wide shelter.
All these have been built by my husband. I can now clean out my outdoor hutches without getting wet !!

Now more recently I have moved my setup down the garden on a paved area on the side of my house.
I have a new 12 x 12 Apex shed plus a 10 x 8 Pent Shed.
This gives me more indoor cover for my bunnies - We are still working on building inside both sheds but we are about 1/2 way there.
Hutches are mainly 4 foot wide with some slightly smaller ones as the internal measurements on the shed are slightly less that 12 foot.
Work on my new sewt up is still ongoing. I am hoping to be complete for summer!
